SUMMER IN THE CITY
In the summer of 2015, I got tired of having my ankles devoured by mosquitoes whenever I ate dinner in a backyard and I didn’t want to spray deet on my bare skin all the time. So with the guidance of a friend who used to run a perfume shop, I concocted a blend of essential oils which were repellent to mosquitoes and ticks and other bugs, but appealing to humans. It seemed to work and I gave it to friends, and each summer, I got requests for more and more.
Personally, if I was going someplace with malaria, dengue or intense Lymes, I would bite the bullet and use something more poisonous. But around the city and suburbs, this seems to really help with mosquitos. Also I spray my house and furniture for freshening.
Different colored bottles, all the same formula.
Helpful in the summer and a reminder of warm nights all year round.
